Founded in 1952 by a few astute people at Hewlett-Packard and Tektronix, First Tech is the nation’s premier credit union serving the world’s leading technology-oriented companies and their employees. Unlike a traditional bank, First Tech is governed by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors comprised of First Tech members.
The Board of Directors governs the general direction and affairs of the credit union in accordance with our Bylaws. They also oversee the President and CEO who manage First Tech's day-to-day operations with the support of the Executive Team.

Jeff Hank
Chair
Jeff serves as Chair. He joined the board in 2007. Jeff is a former Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Intuit, Inc.
Rajeev Agarwal
Director
Rajeev Agarwal joined the board in 2021. As the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MAQ Software, Rajeev leads corporate initiatives to grow the company.
Kathy Farmer
Director
Kathy joined the board in 2000 and leads the Nominating Committees. She recently retired from Levi Strauss & Co where she was the VP of Global Benefits.
Greg Gillas
Chair, Human Capital Committee
Greg joined the board in 2007 and currently chairs the Human Capital Committee. He is the Vice President of Total Rewards for Citrix.
Todd Hauschildt
Treasurer; Chair, Enterprise Risk Committee
Todd is a long-time member of First Tech and an information technology executive with over 30 years of experience in leading IT transformations and managing IT functions within large and mid-sized enterprises.

Phil brings over 35 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, having held executive level positions with PepsiCo, Cisco Systems and SanDisk.

As a member-owned institution, we take the management of your money very seriously. That's why we believe it's important for you to know how your credit union is performing.
Our federal regulator, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), has rated First Tech among the safest credit unions in the country, and under NCUA regulations, we're considered a well-capitalized institution. Plus, we regularly have an outside firm audit our financials to ensure accuracy and accountability.
