How to get your employees access to these products and services

Step 1 Complete this simple form and someone on our Enterprise Account Management team will be in touch within two business days to discuss solutions for your company.
 
Step 2 Once you have agreed to move forward, we’ll submit your company’s partnership application internally.
 
Step 3 We will provide you with all the program documentation needed to distribute to employees and set your company up with our relocation specialists.

This program helps employees moving with an approved employer set up U.S. bank accounts and establish and build U.S. credit. We do this to reduce the financial stress that employees might feel being new to the U.S. and its banking climate.

No, First Tech has members in all 50 states and more than 20 countries. Online Banking and the First Tech App provide all the money management tools and access your employees need to do their banking. 

  • Checking account (opened prior to U.S. arrival, no SSN required)
  • Credit building products such as secured and unsecured Mastercard® credit card
  • Mortgage and Insurance services to help your employees settle into the U.S.

Yes, the day the account is opened they will receive all the information needed to provide to their employer.                                                                                                     

Yes, and for those being relocated by their employer, they do not need any U.S. credit history.

Yes, a soon as they receive their U.S. Social Security number (SSN), a First Tech employee can help them establish credit by applying for a Mastercard, an auto loan, a mortgage, or other loan product.

If spouses and dependents can receive a Social Security number, then they are eligible and First Tech can open individual accounts for them.

Non-U.S. citizens need to provide the following along with your application:

  • Copy of your Passport
  • An employee offer letter detailing your new assignment in the U.S. (typically on company letterhead)
  • A copy of your employee work visa

A First Tech employee can set up a checking or savings account up to 60 days before their arrival in the U.S. Once they arrive in the U.S., a First Tech employee must verify their employment within 30 days.

They may take the first step and apply for a mortgage without a Social Security number, up to 60 days before they move to the U.S.
