Follow these simple steps to make your banking more convenient.
1. Enroll in online banking
Once you enroll, you can:
- Transfer money between your First Tech accounts or accounts outside of First Tech
- Monitor your accounts with notifications or by reviewing your account history
- Pay and manage bills
2. Get our mobile app
- Deposit checks
- Securely pay your friends with Zelle®
- Check balances on the go
3. Go paperless
Subscribe to electronic statements by visiting the Statements widget in Digital Banking. Once you subscribe, you will have access to your First Tech statements, notices and tax documents. For more information on how to subscribe check out the guide and read common questions in the Digital banking questions section on the FAQs page.
4. Take advantage of direct deposit
It’s easy; just contact your employer’s Human Resources department with:
- First Tech’s routing number: 321180379
- Your First Tech account number (available in Online Banking)
- The amount to deposit per paycheck
5. Link your accounts to avoid overdrafts
Overdrafts are caused when payments or other charges applied to your checking account create a negative balance. Overdraft protection transfers available funds from your specified linked account(s) to help prevent overdrafts and potential fees.

6. Order checks
To submit your first check order or reorder checks without changes.
- Login into Online Banking
- Navigate to 'More' in the menu
- Click on 'Check Services'
- Click on 'Order Check' tab
Once you login, you will be routed to our trusted partner Harland Clarke to shop tons of popular designs or simply choose First Tech checks at a member price.
The Check Services widget does NOT allow you to change personal information on your checks. To order checks with changes such as name, address, starting check number or to order special promo checks, please log into Digital Banking and send us a secure message, stop by an Experience Center near you or call us at 855.855.8805.

How do I get an online banking PIN?
To obtain a PIN, please contact us at 855.855.8805.
When will I receive my debit card?
Typically, you will receive your card within 10 business days of opening your account. Once you get your card, be sure you activate it by calling the phone number on the back of the card.

Funding your First Tech account is easy.
With many options for depositing money, we can fit your banking style.
Set up direct deposit through your employer.
We make it easy to automatically deposit your paycheck into your account. Your employer’s Human Resources department can help you get started. They’ll need to know the following details:- First Tech’s routing number: 321180379
- Your First Tech account number
- The amount to deposit per paycheck
Use the First Tech App to deposit a check on your phone:
- Sign the back of the check and write: “For mobile deposit at First Tech only.”
- Sign in to the First Tech Mobile App.
- For iOS, tap “deposit” at the bottom of the Accounts screen. For Android, tap the menu on the top left.
- Tap “Select an Account” to choose where the check will be deposited.
- Enter the value of the check.
- Tap “CHECK FRONT” and hold device close to the front of the check to capture the image.
- Tap “CHECK BACK” and hold device close to the back of the check to capture the image.
- Tap “Deposit Check” once all the fields are completed.
Transfer funds online from another financial institution.
- Login to your other financial institution’s online banking platform
- Go to transfers
- Select the account from which the funds will be withdrawn, amount and frequency
- Select the account to which the funds will be deposited by providing your First Tech routing number and account number
- Save/confirm
Make a deposit at any First Tech location, a CO-OP Shared Branch or a CO-OP ATM.

- Stop by a CO-OP location with:
- Your account number
- A valid government issued ID
- Use any ATM with just your First Tech card

Send and receive money quickly and securely within the First Tech mobile App.
Stay updated with e-Alerts.
Stay on top of what’s happening with your First Tech accounts using e-Alerts. This feature allows you to receive SMS or email notifications about key information. Enrollment is easy. Just follow these five steps to get started:
1. Log in to online banking
2. In the left navigation, click “e-Alerts”
3. Tell us your contact and carrier information
4. Read the Terms and Conditions then click “I Accept”
5. Set up the type of alert you want, and specify when and how you wish to receive it
Check funds at a glance with Balance Peek.
Activate Balance Peek in the First Tech mobile app to get a sneak peek of your account balances, without having to log in.
To turn on the "Balance Peek" feature:
- Go to the mobile app's Settings then choose "Balance Peek"
- Select which accounts balances you want to turn on, then "Save"
