Meet Ben.

Following a long career in IT services, Ben Ashley knew he wanted to do something with his time and effort that helps people, educates families and has a positive impact. That’s when he found his talent for helping others through a career in insurance. Ben has worked in the insurance industry for almost seven years and works to understand the needs of each person he serves.

“A friend told me about the benefits of a career in insurance, and it hit all the checkboxes,” Ben said when asked why he chose insurance. “I truly enjoy helping people. My first client was a single parent who lived paycheck to paycheck and had state minimum limits of liability for her auto coverage. We discussed liability coverage and why it is important.  Not only was I able to double her coverage to better protect her family but I also saved her $45 a month from her previous carrier.  I was excited to provide her with better protection and when I told her about the savings she broke down and said the extra money would help cover their food budget and Christmas. My hope is that everyone I work with leaves with a better understanding of what they are paying for and why.”

Ben is a George Fox University graduate, and a busy guy who is always on the go. Especially with two kids in soccer, triathlons to consider, hikes to plan and rivers to navigate. Additionally, Ben devotes some of his time as a member of the Board of Directors for Sparks of Hope, an organization that hosts healing camps for foster care children who have been abused.
