First Tech Receives Top Marks for Customer Service from American Banker

We're proud to share that First Tech was ranked in the top 4 of 50 banking institutions in an American Banker-sponsored survey of more than 5,000 consumers across America. The randomized study recognized credit unions and commercial banks that go above and beyond in meeting customer needs and expectations. We want to thank each of our 680,000 members for making this possible. 

Our 1,600 employees strive daily to provide the best member experience possible. While we are not perfect, this feedback suggests that we are on the right path to intensify our focus on delivering truly world-class products, services and experiences to current and future members.

Many factors went into our survey results, but we’re excited to share some of the things we’ve been working on. 

Those include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that phone calls are answered by a live and informed team member within 30 seconds. 
• Increasing the limit for 'Send Money' with Zelle®, allowing members to securely send more money when needed. 
• Finally, we know home prices continue to rise, and the levels of stored equity and interest rate changes make a "trade up" more challenging. That’s why we’re continuing to focus on providing low-cost home equity loans to protect the low rate on your mortgage while leveraging equity to create your own "trade-up" home.
