Agent Spotlight: Boyd Frizzell

Boyd stays on his toes by serving clients at four different First Tech locations in Oregon. He spends one day each week at experience centers in Wilsonville, Keizer and Salem (State Street and Commercial Street). On the fifth day he goes wherever he’s needed.

“I wake up each day and enjoy coming in and helping people in every way I can.”

Boyd’s been an insurance agent for 26 years and brings knowledge and experience to creating each clients’ custom plans, ensuring they have the coverage that best suits them. He has earned the designation of Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®), an industry benchmark for insurance credentials that enhances his ability to educate people on a variety of insurance products. His wide array of knowledge helps him respond to inquiries quickly.

Boyd gets to know his clients, frequently over many years, and he’s helped to curate their insurance coverage as their needs change. His approach has earned him loyal clients that originally signed up with Boyd when he worked at Liberty Mutual and Farmers Insurance then followed him to First Tech.

Boyd and his wife of 33 years have a love for music which has rubbed off on their twin sons, who are both musicians. They are currently planning a trip to London to visit one son, a student at the London College of Music. The other son lives in Boston and recently had a performance covered in the Boston Globe. Closer to home, his daughter recently had a little girl of her own, and although he enjoys gardening and running, his new granddaughter is now Boyd’s most consuming hobby.
