Tony Backes

Tony serves as Vice‐Chairman and has served on the board since 2004. Tony retired from Microsoft in 2014 after serving as a Director in the Microsoft Law & Corporate Affairs Group. Prior to joining Microsoft, Tony served as CEO of Seattle Telco Credit Union.

In addition to his duties on the First Tech Board, Tony is an advocate and supporter of KUOW Public Broadcasting and the Seattle Children’s Hospital.
