Meet Melissa

It’s an amazing feeling to provide someone with the insurance knowledge they need to make an informed decision. After over a decade of growing and advancing in the insurance industry, I’ve found a fulfilling career where I can use my expertise to help our members navigate the complex, ever-changing world of insurance and avoid common pitfalls I’ve seen through years of claims experience.

Shortly after obtaining my life insurance license in 2012, I spent about two years traveling around WA, OR, and CA, enrolling a variety of business types and employees in supplemental benefits. I spent nearly every day in a different city—and while the transitory lifestyle was exciting at first— I was fortunate enough to get my Property & Casualty insurance license in 2014 and have had my roots firmly planted in personal insurance ever since.

I wouldn’t say I’m an aggressive or pushy salesperson, preferring rather to ask questions to understand my member’s needs and educate them on the solutions insurance can provide. I feel this creates a more positive and respectful sales experience overall. As your agent, I’m here not just to facilitate your policy, but also to provide ongoing support and address any concerns that arise in the future.

I live in Bellevue with my husband Brandon, stepdaughter Alicia, and our 20lbs Snowshoe cat Zeus. I often bike around town but also love driving my manual ‘08 BMW M3, E93, a hardtop convertible. Outside of work and family, I have deep interests in history, theology, philosophy, and art. You’ll often find me pursuing one of my many creative outlets like oil painting, poetry writing/reading, culinary/baking ventures, and karaoke.

I’m incredibly thankful to have found and joined the First Tech team in 2023 and hope to spend the rest of my career here helping members reach and protect their dreams!
