Director; Chair, Supervisory Committee
Tom joined the board in 1987 after several years on the Supervisory Committee. He currently serves on the Enterprise Risk Committee and chairs the Supervisory Committee.
Tom recently retired from a 35 year career in product management and marketing with technology companies such as Tektronix, Mentor Graphics and Symantec. He founded three companies and worked in a venture capital backed start‐up. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Carnegie‐Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Economics from Amherst College.
He also serves on the board of Oregon’s Health CO‐OP, a member driven, non‐profit health plan delivering innovative health insurance to Oregonians. Presently, he volunteers as a teacher of personal finance in Portland area high schools with Financial Beginnings.
